Ultimaker Engineering Filaments Now Available
Are you looking to take your printing to the next level? Do your print jobs require additional strength, temperature resistance, flexibility, or durability you just cant get from standard filaments? Then we are excited to have a solution for you. We are now carrying Ultimaker's full line of engineering materials. We now have a full inventory of the follow materials in stock and ready to ship:
CPE+
CPE (co-polyester) materials are chemical resistant, tough and demonstrate good dimensional stability. It is a preferred choice for both functional prototypes and mechanical parts. CPE+ provides the added benefit of temperature resistance up to 100C and increased impact strength.
Nylon
From many household toys, to parts used in aerospace exploration, Nylon (polymide) is used in a wide variety of industries including engineering and manufacturing. This is an ideal material for applications that require impact and abrassion resistance. Nylon is also well-known for its impressive strength-to-weight ratio, flexibility, low friction, and corrosion resistance. With its ability to withstand significant mechanical stress, Nylon is a great choice for 3D printing tools, functional prototypes, and end-use parts.
Polycarbonate
Polycarbonate is a top choice material for engineers and manufacturers who require parts that need to retain its strength, toughness and shape while operating in high-temperature environments. This material is an ideal choice for a variety of applications, ranging from mechanically strong outdoor fixtures to aesthetically appealing lampshade designs. Printed parts can retain temperatures and keep their shape up to 110C with minimal warping with strong interlayer bonding.
Flexible - TPU 95A
TPU 95A (thermoplastic polyurethane) is a very robust material with qualities that can serve a wide range of functional prototypes where durability and flexibility are essential. Highly versatile for industrial applications, TPU 95A filament is the go-to choice for a wide array of manufacturing projects that demand the qualities of both rubber and plastic. Designed for 3D printing consistency, TPU 95A is a semi-flexible and chemical resistant filament with strong layer bonding. In addition, it is easier and faster to print than other TPU filaments.
