Print Your Mind 3D was founded in early 2014 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada where we still operate today. What started as a small local 3D printing service has grown into a company servicing all of Canada's desktop 3D printing needs. Our core values are to build the 3D printing community, enable and encourage education, and explore the many ways we can use this incredible technology for good through humanitarian and environmental projects. A portion of all profits directly supports our Enviromaker initiatives around education, innovation, and sustainability.
We offer a wide variety of 3D printers, filament, and accessories from only established, trusted names with a proven track record in the industry in terms of quality and support. All of the printers we carry are award winners for a reason. Because of this, they all come with a minimum 1 year manufacture warranty, so you know you will never be stuck with an expensive paper weight. We are committed to providing Canadian schools, businesses and makers with reliable products and exceptional support.
Our Values - 3D Printing For Good, Community, Education,
3D Printing For Good with Enviromakers
A portion of every sale directly supports our Enviromaker initiatives to promote education, innovation and sustainability.
With technology as powerful as 3D printing, it gives an incredible amount of creating potential in the hands of everyday people. We believe in using that power for good. That is why Print Your Mind 3D actively sponsors and supports collaborating with students, teachers, researchers, and businesses to help create solutions to real world problems using additive manufacturing to benefit people or the planet through our Enviromakers initiative. This includes events such as our Hand-a-thons where we facilitate a one day event to 3D print, assemble, and donate 3D printed prosthetic hands to children less fortunate through e-NABLE. Other projects include developing new solutions to convert waste printing materials into new filaments to create systems to grow food through 3D ponics. It is our belief that these sort of solutions should be available to anyone who owns a 3D printer. We are constantly exploring the many ways we can use 3D printers for good, and we are always interested to collaborate with like minded makers!
We believe in supporting our local 3D printing communities. Our owner, Colin Pischke, is very active in the Calgary 3D printing community. He is an event organizer for 3D Hubs acting as the Calgary 3D Hubs mayor. We love staying active to continue to grow, support and encourage the amazing Calgary 3D printing community, and across Canada. Support from customers like you allows us to continue volunteering our time to organize events and encourage collaboration with makers around the world.
Print Your Mind is focused on integrating 3D printing technology as a 21st century learning tool. We also provide our customers will many resources and tutorials to make the process of getting started with this inspiring technology that much easier. We are always out visiting schools speaking to students, teachers and administration to show them the many ways to integrate this technology in the classroom. Also, for anyone wanting to learn more about 3D printing basics, and how to do 3D modelling, we will be offering courses on this coming shortly. If you are interested in having us come speak at your school, or want to learn more about our courses, write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
